How fast do you respond?
Starter: 24–48 hours. Growth & CFO-Light: same or next business day.
When do you close the month?
We reconcile by the 5th business day given statements are available.
Do you do taxes?
We are a bookkeeping firm, not a CPA. We work with your CPA or refer you to a local partner.
What tools do you support?
QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Stripe, Shopify, Bill.com, and bank feeds from all major Triangle banks.
How do you access my accounts?
Least-privilege user roles only. No shared passwords. MFA required.
How is my data protected?
Encryption in transit and at rest, secured document portal, least-privilege access. We never email raw spreadsheets with sensitive data.
How long do you keep my files?
We retain only what is required for bookkeeping and delete files on request or at the end of the engagement.
Do you do catch-up/cleanup work?
Yes—scoped after a Health Review so we can price accurately.
Can you help with AR and collections?
Yes. We’ll set up invoicing rhythms, ACH payments, and follow-ups.
What about payroll?
We coordinate payroll entries and reconcile, typically via Gusto or your preferred provider.
What are your engagement terms?
Month-to-month with simple SLAs. No long contracts.
Where do you serve?
Raleigh, Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill. Remote-friendly and on Eastern Time.
